Overview

Are you a seasoned commercial kitchen technician who knows how to keep things chill under pressure? A-Tech is on the lookout for experienced professionals who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems with precision and professionalism. From ice machines to walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units, if you’ve got the skills, we’ve got the opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
• Troubleshooting and repairing commercial cooking equipment like fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and more
• Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
• Deliver outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
• Rotate through after-hours and weekend on-call shifts
• Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
• Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
• Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems
• EPA Universal Certification
• A seasoned pro—or ready to become one—with experience servicing commercial cooking equipment
• Eager to learn and grow through hands-on, onsite training opportunities
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must be 18 years or older
