Job Description

An exciting new opportunity exists for a high performing, commercial finance business partner, to be part of a passionate, forward-thinking team. We are currently partnering with a hugely successful and investing digital consumer brand based in Central London. The business has grown from strength to strength over the past 6 years, with no signs of slowing down, despite current market pressures.

Reporting directly to a highly capable Head of Commercial Finance, you will be asked to closely partner and influence a number of key non-finance stakeholders across the group. Those with a proactive and questioning mindset will thrive in this position.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Producing key management reports to identify business risks and opportunities, including relevant deep dive analysis.
  2. Leading commercial decision-making to drive further investment and continued profitability.
  3. Leading financial planning processes and budgeting.
  4. Acting as a strong business partner to drive high-level decision making across non-finance teams.
  5. Directly supporting the leadership team with ad hoc commercial and strategic projects.

The role is suited to bright, ambitious individuals who will thrive working as part of a successful, international SME that is heavily investing and growing.

We are seeking candidates with exceptional communication skills, capable of pushing back appropriately without causing unnecessary friction.

You will most likely be operating at 2-5 years post-qualified level, but this is not limited to.

A proven track record of success within commercial finance is essential, including a minimum of 2 years in relevant commercial/financial planning roles.

Sector experience in ecommerce, technology, or digital industries is beneficial but not essential—more important is the ability to add value from a strategic finance perspective.

The role requires 2 days in the office with flexible hours.
