  • Scan documentation onto the Clinical Web Portal.
  • Action administrative instructions from the CNS team.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner.
Job description
Overview

An opportunity has arisen to join our administration team in this newly created post, providing full administrative support to the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team within the Oncology & Haematology Directorate.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake various clerical duties associated with the custody and use of Health Records, including all administrative procedures and documentation associated with a patient’s journey.
  • Execute administrative duties related to any aspect of the service, demonstrating a significant level of initiative in organising workload and taking decisions within clearly defined limits.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Respond efficiently, politely, and timely to all telephone calls received via the CNS team offices.
  • Accurately input, update, and amend patient‑related information onto the computerised Patient Administration System (PAS) and any other computerised system used by the service.
  • Accurately scan documentation onto the Clinical Web Portal (CWP).
  • Action all administrative instructions initiated by the CNS team.
  • Timely process all incoming and outgoing mail.
