CNC Setter Operator

Aldershot

£15-20ph

Overview

CNC Setter Operator urgently required to work an early shift for a world leading manufacturing organisation based near Aldershot. Working as part of an experienced team of Machinists you will perform a wide variety of machine shop operations including re‑work, miscellaneous precision machining tasks, and maintenance of shop equipment.

We are looking for a skilled Setter & Operator of various machinery (including CNC, Mazak, etc.) to set up and prepare materials and tooling for upcoming jobs, working from engineering drawings to produce precision spec components for customers from the aerospace and automotive industry.

Hours : Monday - Thursday 06:30 - 15:30, Friday 06:00 - 13:00

Requirements
  • Must be self‑sufficient & able to set and operate multiple machine tools
  • Demonstrable experience in a engineering, production environment preferred
  • Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team
CNC Machinist Responsibilities
  • Programming, setting and operating
  • Responsible for maintaining production output, cycle times & all associated production documentation
  • Perform TPM & 5S duties within the department
  • Support quick turnaround tasks
  • Become an active team member contributing to driving waste elimination and cross‑training within the department
