Overview

CNC Programmer Operator — Grantham — Permanent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer Operator with experience of Mazac / Mazatrol or Fanuc to work for a well-established engineering company based in Grantham. Due to the ongoing success and growth of the company, they are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer Operator to work in a long-term stable role with a great work–life balance, and an early finish on Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machines from engineering drawings
• Working primarily with Fanuc / Mazak machines, preferably using Mazatrol controls
• Editing, proving, and optimising programs to improve efficiency.
• Setting and operating machines as required.
• Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
• Carrying out self-inspection and ensuring quality standards are met.
• Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision engineering environment
• Strong experience with Mazak / Mazatrol programming (highly desirable)
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
