Are you a skilled CNC Miller/Turner with a passion for precision and innovation? This client—a world-renowned manufacturer of high-specification components for the aerospace, medical, and automotive industries—is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join their expert manufacturing team in Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and set FANUC CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-precision components
  • Demonstrate expertise working with high precision measuring equipment including micrometres, calipers, gauges and verniers
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and customer-specific prototypes
  • Work to tight tolerances across a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, and titanium
  • Ensure quality standards are consistently met throughout production
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimise machining processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to health and safety protocols
  • Conduct close inspection of pre-manufactured parts including final inspection duties
  • Able to use lifting equipment to load components
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in CNC milling/turning within a precision engineering environment
  • Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining and prototype development
  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Experience working with varied metals and materials
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Team player with a commitment to continuous improvement
