About the Machine Operative Opportunity

Due to continued expansion and the opening of a brand‑new factory, we are recruiting 12 permanent machinists across various disciplines for a leading precision engineering business in Hampshire. This company supplies to high‑spec industries such as aerospace and defence and has made major investments in technology and infrastructure.

Roles available include CNC Turning, Gear Cutting, Grinding, Lapping, Deburring, and more. You’ll be joining a newly formed afternoon shift team and will receive full onboarding and training.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Machine CNC Machinist

• Operate machines such as lathes, grinders, gear cutters or CNCs
• Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances
• Deliver quality output within production deadlines
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team‑focused environment
• Complete a 12‑week training period on day shift (06:30–15:15 Mon–Thu, Fri 06:00–13:00) before transitioning to the afternoon shift
