Overview

Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist – lead the mental health Physiotherapy team at Prospect Park Hospital, Reading.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high quality, evidence‑based physiotherapy service for adults with a mental health diagnosis and older adults.
  • Coordinate and deliver care across inpatient and community venues, promoting independence, choice and dignity.
  • Provide effective supervision and training to less experienced staff and student physiotherapists.
  • Plan, develop and deliver education, training and practice improvement initiatives.
  • Deputise for the team leader in their absence.
Qualifications & Experience
  • BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (essential).
  • CPD evidence and statutory/mandatory course completion (essential).
  • Experience caring for older adults with medical conditions.
  • Leadership experience or proven ability to act as team lead.
  • UK professional registration (essential).
