Overview

Liverpool Women’s Hospital NHS Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic midwife to join our Midwifery Led Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of midwives that provide high standards of care using evidence based practice. The service is continually changing and evolving to meet the needs of the population and ensure women and their families have a positive birthing experience. We welcome innovative ways of working and new ideas. We are a friendly and supportive team keen to gain the best out of every midwife. The service offers development opportunities and support for career progression within the Maternity workforce.

Role and Responsibilities

The post holder will provide clinical leadership to the midwifery led team and offer specialist support on all aspects of the Midwifery Led Unit (MLU). They will coordinate the safe, effective and efficient running of the unit by providing excellent maternity care for women and families. They will be an experienced resource for learners and visitors to the unit.

Qualifications and Requirements
