Do you want the wonderful opportunity to become the Clinical Lead in an exciting service, the Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (known as the Wellbeing and Emotional Support in Schools Team-WEST, in Herefordshire and Worcestershire), WEST is an established service is now looking to recruit two additional Clinical Leads, one for our Redditch and Bromsgrove Team and one for our South Worcestershire Team. The service is in Herefordshire and Worcestershire schools to provide evidenced based early interventions for Children and Young People aged 5 - 18 experiencing mental health problems. These are Low Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) orientated. To be part of an efficient Leadership Team who are supportive, share knowledge, learn from our experiences, have attractive training packages, making the work place a good place to be. The service is Monday- Friday 9am 5pm, with multi professional working. The Clinical Lead role for both teams is, core in monitoring of the quality and clinical delivery across the wellbeing occupations workforce. Days in the locality will be expected in line with service delivery, meetings etc., Accurate an contemporaneous electronic records Co-ordinate staff resources Participate and lead in training Positively enhance new integrated ways of working Lead in the provision of mentorship and preceptorship of staff or delegate as appropriate Regularly review, audit, quality and governance of clinical scope of the service. Participate in and/or chair meetings Set, monitor, evaluate standards escalating concern and potential for development Provide evidence based effective practice and new practice developments, guidelines, legislation, disseminate and implement with others Be professionally accountable and responsible Provide spontaneous and planned advice, teaching, instruction and education to school staff, internally and wider services. Contribute to clinical governance and quality agenda and lead as appropriate Keep informed of and develop strategies for implementing best practice in the service area, and to ensure effective communication of clinical developments within the service Confidentiality is maintained all times Clinical supervision of staff
