A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an experienced clinical leader to oversee operations in urgent care settings. This role involves effective team leadership, clinical audits, and collaboration with quality and patient safety teams to ensure high standards of patient care. Successful candidates will hold a valid driving licence and be prepared to work across multiple locations. Benefits include career progression, generous annual leave, NHS discounts, and a competitive pension scheme.
Are you an experienced clinician looking to progress your leadership knowledge and experience? Do you want to work as part of a great team? This could be just the role for you! We are looking for someone who is a great role model to the team and who is confident of their clinical skills in an urgent care setting, supports best practice, person‑centred care and is able to monitor governance that promotes patient and staff safety. The leadership position is based at Townlands Hospital, Henley on Thames and the Oxford GP Out of Hours service. You will be expected to travel and work across both sites. Henley MIU/GP Out of Hours provides acute minor injury care 7 days a week and manages urgent primary care cases referred via 111 when GP surgeries are closed. The Oxford GP Out of Hours service, located at East Oxford Health Centre, delivers urgent primary care outside regular GP and pharmacy hours. As a clinically credible and visible clinical lead, you will collaborate with the leadership team to advance clinical practice across both sites. The role supports the delivery of appropriate care within the local healthcare system and includes dedicated clinical management days. Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
