Job summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training, collaborating with IT teams and clinical staff, and ensuring system optimization to meet operational needs. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in clinical systems and possess strong communication skills. This is a vital role within a dedicated IT department committed to quality care and support.

Qualifications

  • Completed Train the Trainer courses for clinical information systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of formal IT training delivery.
  • Understanding of clinical service requirements related to NHS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement clinical system changes and enhancements.
  • Provide expert support and guidance to system users.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and technical support.

Skills

Proven experience with NHS clinical systems, particularly SystmOne
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
Proficiency in IT systems and applications
Experience in developing e-learning packages and training scripts

Education

Educated to HND/Degree level in Training/Development or equivalent experience
GCSE or equivalent Maths and English
Formal training qualification or working towards it
Microsoft Office to an advanced level
Clinical Information Systems Formal Training Accreditation
