Job description
The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Embryologist to work as an integral part of our Embryology Laboratory team to provide fertility services and treatments to our diverse patient population. You will join a collaborative team of specialists working at the forefront of reproductive medicine. You will report directly to the Laboratory Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • All clinical embryology work, including egg collections, IVF, ICSI, embryo assessments, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation by vitrification, and all andrology work, including semen assessments, semen preparation and semen cryopreservation.
  • All administrative duties associated with the laboratory.
  • Quality management duties associated with the laboratory, including audit.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
  • Contribute to clinic protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in patient education and counselling.
  • Opportunity to engage in clinical research and publications.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Higher degree in Reproductive Science or similar
  • Embryology training completed – ACE certificate or STP
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a Clinical Scientist
  • Certified ICSI practitioner
  • Certified biopsy practitioner
  • Experience with the latest assisted reproductive technologies
  • Track record of clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • IMSI, time lapse microscopy and AI is an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years clinical embryology experience (UK/EU/US experience is preferred)
  • Evidence of your previous individual lab KPIs will be required.
