Job description
Clinical Deputy Manager

Location: Brunswick Court Care Home, 62 Stratford Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD17 4JB.

Pay: Up to £55,848 per annum, depending on experience.

Employment: Permanent, 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday; occasional night visits or weekend work may be required). Welcome Bonus: £2,000*.

Responsibilities
  • You will oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • With the tunnet of your team you will create and update individual care plans for our residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up‑to‑date medication records.
  • It is imperative that the correct staffing levels are maintained through efficient management of rotas; you will ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
  • Drawing on your clinical experience you will provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team – promoting our residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
  • You will build lasting relationships with the residents and the people they care about, fostering a sense of community.
  • Creating and developing strong relationships with local partners, you will liaise with these partners and play an important role in raising the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development.
  • With a real understanding of the benefits that the right nursing care can bring to residents’ lives, you will champion independence, choice and dignity by delivering the highest quality care to our residents.
  • You will possess up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
  • An effective visibles communicator who is able to build communs and honest relationships with residents and their families.
  • You are a natural leader who is ready to share your clinical experience,rii leading and Autumning a team, able to delegate effectively and promote excellent customer service and relationships.
  • You have excellent time management anos and can effectively prioritise your workload.
  • You are a respectful and compassionate team player with the belief in giving your personal best.
