A family-owned care provider is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager for Silverleigh Care Home in Exeter. This full-time role entails delivering exceptional clinical standards, mentoring a dedicated team, and leading the home in the absence of the Home Manager. The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with leadership experience and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for older people. The position offers a competitive salary of £50,000 – £55,000, along with benefits such as paid DBS and annual leave.

What You Will Do
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be at the heart of delivering and driving exceptional clinical standards across the home. You will support and mentor a dedicated care team, embedding a culture of kindness, respect, and continuous improvement. You will ensure every resident’s care plan is tailored to their needs and that their health, safety, and wellbeing are always prioritised.
Your role will also involve building meaningful relationships with residents and their families, supporting them with sensitivity and reassurance. You will work closely with external professionals to ensure joined-up care, and step confidently into the Home Manager’s role when needed, leading the home with professionalism and integrity.
