We are seeking a talented individual to join our Climate and Sustainability Strategy team at Marsh. This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

  • You will work closely with global cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external partners to drive initiatives and incubate new ideas that help our clients navigate Climate & Sustainability challenges.
  • This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills and familiarity with project management methodologies and Climate & Sustainability issues.
  • Daily duties could include climate and sustainability strategy and problem-solving, written and verbal communication, project planning and execution and stakeholder engagement and management.

We will count on you to:

  • Take ownership and drive climate and sustainability project outcomes; monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other communication channels.
  • Support company ambitions in the climate and sustainability space including by contributing to research, thought leadership and analytics.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with teams across Marsh, working with different geographies and external partners to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders in climate and sustainability initiatives, seeking input and fostering collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest climate and sustainability issues, and regulatory requirements.

What you need to have:

  • Strong core consulting skillset (e.g. hypothesis-driven analysis).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the intersection between climate/sustainability & insurance.

  • Experience in strategy consulting or other advisory roles
  • Experience of working in the climate / sustainability / ESG fields
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and public speaking is a plus
