Job summary

A leading payroll services provider in Leeds is seeking a Payroll Team Leader to lead and develop a team of Payroll Executives. Responsibilities include overseeing payroll processing, addressing client queries, and ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in payroll management, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in payroll software. Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of PAYE, auto-enrolment, and UK payroll legislation.
  • Previous leadership or team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and payroll software platforms.
  • CIPP qualification preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing

  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure smooth client experiences.

  • Monitor capacity planning and team performance data.
  • Stay up to date with payroll legislation and software updates.
What You’ll Bring
