Job summary

GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a Customer Hire and Sales Coordinator to be based on the hire desk in our customer office.

This fast-paced role involves ensuring efficient workflows between our Major Account customers and GAP Group, with emphasis on meeting customer requirements and driving service quality. You will manage customer queries, liaise with gaps across depots to ensure needs are met, and identify opportunities for sales growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working within a customer service role, preferably within the Construction/Hire industry.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment whilst building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent administration skills with experience using MS Office packages and strong attention to detail.
• Driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer queries and coordinate with GAP Group depots to meet customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for sales growth and upsell where appropriate.
• Manage invoice and credit queries and ensure accurate data handling.
• Collate weekly KPI data and produce performance reports when required.
