Job summary

GAP Group is seeking a Hire & Sales Coordinator for its Non-Mechanical division. You will act as the first point of contact, manage hire requests, coordinate logistics, and drive sales while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced depot environment.

Ideal candidates have experience in a high-volume hire desk, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Outlook and Excel. This is a on-site role offering career progression within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commercial edge.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills including Outlook and Excel.
• Team player who can also work independently and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing hires across a range of Non-Mechanical equipment.
• Process hire desk administration and handle customer and supplier queries promptly.
• Ensure stock levels meet demand and identify opportunities to maximise sales.
• Coordinate with drivers and fitters to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Resolve customer complaints and supplier issues with professionalism.
