Job summary

Cardiff Bay Vets for Pets is seeking a friendly Client Care Advisor to join our front-of-house team. You will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, ensuring a warm, professional welcome and smooth daily operations in a busy practice.

The role is 40 hours per week, fixed-term maternity cover starting December 2026. We value empathy, teamwork and excellent customer service, with on-site parking and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional with pets and clients.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a friendly, professional approach.
• Manage appointments and diary scheduling.
• Handle telephone and email enquiries.
• Process payments and maintain accurate client records.
• Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks.
• Provide reassurance and empathy to pet owners during visits.
