Job Summary

Solo Service Group is recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part‑time, permanent basis at Claygate Primary School, KT10 0NB.

We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals. All necessary training will be provided, so we need you to bring drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.

Working Hours & Pay
  • Standard hours: 22.5 hours per week
  • Optional additional hours: 4.5 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour
  • Positions available: 2 Cleaning Operatives

Successful applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning classrooms, WC’s, and other school spaces as required.
  • Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.
  • Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously.
Requirements
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.
  • Reliability, responsibility and flexible approach to work.
  • Cleaning experience preferred but full training will be provided if necessary.
