Responsibilities
  • Manage and run the cleaning department on site as well as on two remote sites.
  • Continually monitor all cleaning standards and hygiene standards and ensure they are maintained at the highest level.
  • Act as duty manager ’on call’ and cover holiday/weekend duties as directed by line manager.
  • Ensure standards of service detailed in the service level agreement and within the schedules of the contractual terms and conditions are achieved, maintained and developed.
  • Develop and maintain a positive internal and external network, including dealing with subcontractors as per SOPs.
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a similar role within the service industry at a comparable level in a company.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations and awareness of quality management systems e.g. ISO.
  • Previous experience of managing and leading a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and deploy resources effectively as well as an ability to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Qualifications
  • You must be over 25 with a Full UK Driving License as you will be driving a company vehicle.
  • You must have been continuously resident in the UK for the last 3 years to apply for this position (due to security requirements).
