Job summary

Norse Group LTD is hiring a part-time Cleaner at Devon House in Torquay. The role involves carrying out routine cleaning tasks, both independently and within a team, while maintaining high hygiene and customer service standards for clients across the facility.

Training and ongoing support are provided. The position offers a part-time schedule of 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with early morning shifts from 6am to 8am.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial cleaning environment is an advantage, full training will be provided.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
• Attention to detail and customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day routine cleaning tasks and ad-hoc cleaning as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Maintain hygiene standards across communal areas and deliver a high standard of service to clients.

£26,438.07 pro-rata (based on a 40 hour working week), equivalent to £12.71/hour

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at Devon House on a permanent, part-time, basis.

The Role

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:
