Job summary

South West Norse is seeking a Cleaner to join our team at County Hall, Exeter on a permanent, part-time basis. The role covers daily cleaning tasks and customer-facing service across communal areas, in line with our policies and procedures.

Working 15 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, 4:30pm–7:30pm, you will operate both independently and as part of a team, delivering high standards of cleanliness while maintaining a friendly, professional approach for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning is advantageous.
• Ability to work to defined standards in a quality-driven environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day routine and ad-hoc cleaning as directed by the Supervisor.

£26,438.07 pro-rata (based on a 40 hour working week), equivalent to £12.71/hour

15 hours per week

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering and facilities management disciplines.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Cleaner to join our established team at County Hall, Exeter on a permanent, part-time, basis.

The Role

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

• Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team
