Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for cleaning 2 Airbnb units in the same building as well as a 3‑hour standard clean every Friday at 9 am. The role is based in Hackney E9. Opportunities to also take part in end‑of‑tenancy cleaning if experienced in this area.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks according to established standards and procedures, ensuring that all assigned areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised.
• Carry out a variety of cleaning duties, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other spaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Handle specialised cleaning tasks such as Airbnb turnovers and domestic cleaning.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are kept clean, organised, and in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure that cleaning requirements are understood and met.

Requirements

• Previous experience in professional cleaning for at least 1 year.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning tasks.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks requiring bending, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Must live in London, UK, and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
• Must be punctual and professional when representing Auristine Group Ltd at all times.
