The role involves regular cleaning tasks, including classroom upkeep and bathroom maintenance, for 12.5 hours per week during term time. Alderman Richard Hallam (ARH) is a large, thriving primary school, which is fortunate to have extensive grounds in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester. Our children mostly come from the local area and are drawn from a diverse social spectrum. We are a fully inclusive school, which nurtures every child. At Alderman Richard Hallam Primary School, we are looking for dynamic and reliable cleaners to work as part of our friendly team to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties as directed by their line manager. This position will report to the Premises Officer and the Senior Leadership Team. At ARH, we celebrate and promote positive health and well‑being for everyone. We have a Well‑being and Workload Reduction Team comprising different roles within the school. The team have introduced a number of well‑being initiatives such as staff quizzes, bingo nights, pamper sessions and full days of well‑being time, to name just a few. They also work together to review the workloads of staff and find strategies for reducing unnecessary tasks.
