We currently have a permanent vacancy in a primary school covering as required on a backshift Monday to Friday only.

Saline Primary School - 10 hours per week on a 40-week term-time contract (2 hours per day as required from 3:00pm – 5:00pm).

You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

• Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal installments every 4-week pay period).

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on-the-job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

The Person

You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
