Job description

Class 2 HGV Driver

Our valued Client based in Elstow, Bedford is looking for a Class 2 driver who will act as a cover driver during their busy summer period, covering holidays and sickness. The contract is expected to be 8 months starting in March 26.

The Role: The role involves delivering mortar to active building sites using a cement mixer truck. There is not much manual labour expected however getting dirty in this line of work is a guarantee especially in bad weather. Full uniform will be provided after a 12 week temporary period.

Shift Pattern: 06:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday. Overtime should be expected daily averaging 5-10 hours per week.

*There is the prospect of earning a temp-perm contract with the client should the driver excel in his role.
Full time contracts over annual salary of £42,000 with over £50k achievable with overtime*
