Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic in Wolverhampton is recruiting for multiple Class 2 Driver vacancies. The role reports to the Transport Manager and involves delivering stock to customers, supporting loading/unloading, and building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Working 48 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday with flexibility across 5 days in a 7 day period. Permanent contract, salary £37,418 with overtime paid at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Customer service mindset.
• Manual handling experience or training is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes and delivering stock to customers.
• Support Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team with loading/unloading stock.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Use knowledge of the local region to deliver safely and on time.
• Maintain health and safety as a core priority in all processes.

Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Location: Wolverhampton, WV10 0JR

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 48 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, however, flexibility to work any 5 days in a 7 day period.

Salary: £37,418 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the role:

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for multiple Class 2 Driver's. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities:

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
• Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• A current and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.

• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
