Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is recruiting Class 2 Drivers in Leeds (Sherburn) to work with a leading DIY and homeware retailer. You will handle multi-drop deliveries, perform vehicle checks, and complete standard paperwork.

Applicants must have a Class 2 licence, UK DCPC, Digi-tacho, and at least 12 months of commercial driving experience. Up to 6 points may be accepted; the role requires compliance with WTD and drug testing.

Qualifications

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
• Multi-drop Deliveries - dropping carpet off at various locations
• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
