Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Hemel Hempstead to handle and deliver carpets. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, operate a Class 2 vehicle, and complete vehicle checks and paperwork.

The role involves heavy lifting and on-site duty at a secure site with a full induction. Applicants must hold a Class 2 licence, 12 months of commercial driving experience, a valid DCPC and Digi-tacho card.

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 10 hour shifts guaranteed (06:00 starts)

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Hemel Hempstead to work with our client, who are the UK's best carpet manufacturer.

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
