Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Dartmouth for regular, ongoing shifts. The role involves driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle to perform multi-drop deliveries of carpets and complete required vehicle checks and paperwork.

You will operate in a customer-facing capacity and adhere to site and regulatory rules. Applicants must hold a Class 2 licence, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and have at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 driving licence.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• Up to 6 points on licence may be accepted (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements excluded).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle

• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
