Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment in Hemel Hempstead is seeking Class 2 Drivers to handle and deliver carpets, with heavy lifting expected. You must have a Class 2 licence and at least 12 months of commercial driving experience. You will also need UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and the right to work in the UK.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 10 hours from 06:00, with a 12-week temp-to-perm contract. Benefits include weekly pay, secure on-site parking, full site induction, and regular ongoing shifts.

Pay Rates: £20.25to £30.38p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday - 10 hour shifts guaranteed (06:00 starts)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
• Multi-drop Deliveries - dropping carpet off at various locations
• Manual handling - moving heavy carpet (equipment provided)
• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least12 months experience driving commercially.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
