Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 driver in Dartmouth to work with a leading DIY/homeware retailer. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle for multi‑drop deliveries and perform routine vehicle checks. A clean, professional appearance and strong customer service are essential.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with weekly pay. Applicants must have 12+ months driving experience, a Class 2 licence, DCPC and Digi‑tacho. UK residency and right-to-work documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle.
• Multi-drop deliveries to various locations.
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete paperwork as required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
• Multi-drop Deliveries - dropping carpet off at various locations
• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
