Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 Driver for home delivery routes in the Northampton area. You will operate in a 2-person crew, handle multi-drop deliveries and manage vehicle checks and paperwork in a customer-facing role.

Applicants must hold a Class 2 licence, UK DCPC, and a valid Digi-tacho card with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience. DBS check is required and shifts start early, with paid weekly wages and secure site parking.

Shift pattern of either 4 out of 7 days or Tuesday to Saturday (5 out of 7) with start times between 04:00 and 06:00

As this is a customer facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.
