Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking Class 2 drivers in Dartmouth to join our client, a leading DIY and homeware retailer's logistics operation. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, handle carpet deliveries, conduct vehicle checks and complete required paperwork.

You must hold a Class 2 licence with at least 12 months' commercial driving experience, a valid DCPC and Digi-Tacho card. The role requires a clean, customer-facing approach and compliance with working time regulations; on-site

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
• Multi-drop Deliveries - dropping carpet off at various locations
• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least12 months experience driving commercially.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
