Job Summary

HG Recruitment are recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers for a variety of contracts across London. The roles cover multi‑drop store deliveries, waste collection, removals, and other logistics duties on a set shift pattern, primarily Monday to Friday with some weekend or Saturday availability. The positions offer full‑time consistency with the flexibility often found in temporary work and the security of working with a blue‑chip client.

Positions & Locations

• Park Royal / Greenford – Class 2 HGV Driver; pay £17.00–£25.50 per hour. Shift 05:00‑13:45 Mon‑Fri (2 Saturdays/month with a day off). Primary duty: multi‑drop store deliveries.
• Hounslow – Class 2 HGV Driver for a removals company; fixed salary £35,000 per annum.
• Southall, London – Class 2 Service Driver (full‑time, permanent); salary £33,283.42 p/a.
• Hayes – Class 2 driver delivering kegs of beer to pubs and clubs; hourly pay starting at £20.00.
• Twickenham & Heathrow – Class 2 Driver delivering construction and building material products; hourly pay £17‑£19. Six‑hour starts Monday to Friday.
• Greenford – Class 2 & 1 Driver; annual salary £68,484.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi‑drop store deliveries and other logistics tasks on schedule.
• Deliver waste collection and construction products as required by the client.
• Maintain accurate driver journals, adhering to Hours of Work and Time Data (WTD) legislation.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and load security to meet client and regulatory standards.
• Provide a customer‑focused, reliable service and work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with a minimum of 6 months’ experience.
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Current Digital Tacho and Driver CPC cards.
• Understanding of drivers’ hours and WTD legislation.
• Strong geographical knowledge for the relevant operating area.
