The Details
  • Salary:££35,803.85 Per Annum, £16.39 Per Hour +£3.28 Per Hour Night Allowance
  • Shift Pattern: 4 On/4 Off Nights
  • Hours: 18:00-06:00
  • Monthly Pay
Class 1 Driver/Transport Coordinator Duties
  • Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours Rules and Working Time Directive
  • Clean or acceptable driving record
  • Strong driving skills with the ability to handle articulated vehicles safely
  • Excellent knowledge of road safety legislation and transport regulations
  • Ability to carry out vehicle checks and report defects accurately
  • Experience in transport or logistics environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of compliance, including drivers’ hours, WTD, and fleet standards
  • IT skills, including use of TMS systems, Excel, email, and planning tools
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
  • Good attention to detail when handling paperwork, bookings, and compliance tasks
  • Time management and ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional and calm approach when dealing with challenges or delays
