Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Bristol is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver to ensure smooth, safe operations and on-time deliveries. You will drive both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles, delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to stores across South Wales, the South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C)
• Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience

Responsibilities

• Delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to stores.
• Sundays you will either be trunking DC to DC or shunting in the yard.
• You will be driving both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles.
• Areas delivering too - All South Wales and South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards, The Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling will be required for this role.

Pay Rate: £43,561.80 plus an additional responsibility bonus of £2,600 per year

Shift patterns: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 12 hour days, 4am start

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
