Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Bristol is seeking a Class 2 driver to join our busy operations, delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to store. You will typically make 6–7 drops daily (up to 11 on busy days) across South Wales, South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton, following Driver Hours and Health & Safety rules.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 license, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, with at least 6 months driving experience; a pension, GP support and discounts are among

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• At least 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, ambient and frozen goods to stores.
• Typically around 6–7 drops per day, up to 11 on busy days.
• Cover areas including South Wales, South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and The Highway Code, and perform vehicle checks.
• Manual handling will be required.

Pay Rate: £42,116.48 plus an additional responsibility bonus £2,600 per year

Grade: P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Either Wednesday to Saturday or Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (please let us know during pre-screening)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• You will be delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to store.
• On average there is around 6-7 drops but can be as much as 11 on occasions.
• Areas delivering too - All South Wales and South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling will be required for this role.

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You must have at least 6 months HGV Class 2 Driving experience.
