Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Hatfield is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver for a permanent full-time role at 40 hours per week. The position involves delivering goods safely and on time, with a fixed shift pattern Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, starting early in the morning.

Pay is £20.95 per hour. Candidates should have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and at least 6 months of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Minimum 6 months driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and efficiently in line with drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards and The Highway Code.
• Complete regular vehicle checks.
• Manually handle customer products with pallet truck and tail lift.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products (Pallet truck & Tail lift)

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 6 months recent driving experience
