Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Bristol seeks an experienced Class 2 driver to help ensure deliveries are on time across South Wales, South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton. You will deliver chilled, ambient and frozen goods, typically 6–7 drops per day, with up to 11 on busy days, driving safely and in line with regulations.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 license with Driver CPC and Tachograph card, and at least six months of Class 2 driving experience.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC qualification and Tachograph card are required.
• Minimum of 6 months HGV Class 2 driving experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, ambient and frozen goods to stores.
• Typically 6–7 drops per day, up to 11 on busy days.
• Deliveries cover South Wales, South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.

Pay Rate: £42,116.48 plus an additional responsibility bonus £2,600 per year

Shift patterns: Either Wednesday to Saturday or Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (please let us know during pre-screening)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• You will be delivering chilled, ambient and frozen goods to store.
• On average there is around 6-7 drops but can be as much as 11 on occasions.
• Areas delivering too - All South Wales and South West, edges of London, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
• Regular completion of vehicle checks.
• Manual handling will be required for this role.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• You must have at least 6 months HGV Class 2 Driving experience.
