Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver based in Faverdale (DL3 0UR) to support our UK operations. This permanent, full-time role involves safe deliveries, manual handling, and adhering to driving hours regulations.

The role requires a Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC, and tachograph card, with a preference for recent Class 1 experience. Competitive pension, GP access, and discount programs are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have recent Class 1 driving experience.
• Demonstrate commitment to road safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Completing store deliveries and manual handling of products in roll cages.
• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Complying with health and safety standards and adhering to the Highway Code and vehicle regulations.
• Regularly carrying out vehicle checks.

Pay Rate: £39,590.21

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time - 40hrs)

Shift patterns: 4 On 2 Off.

Start Times: Days : 03:00-06:00. Afters/Nights : 14:00-17:00
