Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver in Crewe to help ensure our operations run smoothly and deliveries are made safely and on time.

You'll perform trunking runs, daily vehicle checks and keep accurate transport records, while complying with driver hours and company procedures. The role requires a valid Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card, plus knowledge of UK hours and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled trunking runs between distribution centres, customer depots and Local Stores.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all road transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery and transport documentation.
• Adhere to driver hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures at all times.
• Deliver a professional and courteous service while representing the company.
