Overview

HGV Class 1 Driver - Days

Location: East Leake, LE12 6JX

Pay Rate: £15.94 - £16.59

Shift times: Monday to Friday, starting between 4:00am - 6:00am

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services offering services including Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions. We are recruiting for a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver for day shifts delivering construction materials directly to trade customers, including major sites like Travis Perkins and Jewson’s.

Responsibilities

• Early morning starts between 4am - 6am, Monday to Friday
• Delivering plasterboard, plaster, fixings, jointing systems, and ceiling solutions
• Up to 4 drops per day (trade deliveries only)
• Vehicles are loaded by the warehouse, and unloaded by the customer/site
• Routes are planned to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
• Average shift length: 10-11 hours

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience preferred
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and drivers' hours regulations
• Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude
