Job description

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Class 1 Driver to join our Breedon Cement team in Dagenham. You will work as a Powder Tanker Driver, responsible for collecting and delivering powder products for the construction industry.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a Cat CE bulk powder tanker to collect and deliver powder products for the construction industry
  • Load and discharge powder products using pressurised systems, following all safety protocols
  • Conduct vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and compliance
  • Complete all required documentation and delivery records accurately
Qualifications
  • Valid Category CE (Class 1) UK driving licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience operating bulk powder tankers (preferred, but training may be provided)
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Physically fit and capable of handling equipment safely

This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a Monday to Friday pattern, on a day shift, contracted to 48 hours per week.
