Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for an Exeter-based parcel delivery network (EX5). Shifts are afternoon, ad-hoc, Monday to Friday with weekend work available and average 12-hour days.Rates include holiday pay: Weekdays £20.34 per hour, Saturday £23.52, Sunday £26.25, overtime £25.25 after 8 hours. Duties include vehicle checks, trunking to depots and hubs, and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Hold a valid Tachograph and CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT codes.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Exeter (EX5).

Drivers shifts:

• We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available
• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
