Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd is seeking experienced Class 1 night drivers to join our client’s busy distribution centre in Exeter. You will trunk palletised and caged stock to fixed hubs and centres across the UK, typically working Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include trunking, some inter depot collections, trailer swaps and ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is up to date. Night shifts are available with around 9 hour durations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience desirable.
• Night trunking and deliveries experience advantageous.
• Ensure safe driving and compliance with road regulations.

Job description

The Staffing Network are a national labour provider and we are looking for experienced Class 1 night drivers to join our client's busy distribution centre in Exeter.

Working for one of the world's largest logistics companies you will trunking palletised and caged stock to fixed hubs and centres throughout the UK.

Shifts available Monday through to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Trunking & Deliveries: Complete 4-6 drops/trunking routes between depots and clients
• Some inter depot collections will be required
• Trailor swaps
• Approx 9 hour shifts

Requirements

• Licence: Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E).
• CPC/Card: Valid Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months recent Class 1 driving experience is desirable
• Safe Operation: Ensure safe driving and adherence to all road regulations.
• Load Security: Ensure parcels are loaded/unloaded safely and efficiently.
• Administration: Keep paperwork and vehicle checks updated
