Job summary

Gi Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Rotherham (S66). Shifts include day and night routes with trunking to depots and hubs. Pay rates range from £17.93–£23.53 per hour, including holiday pay, with typical 12-hour shifts.

Applicants should have a valid Tachograph and CPC, a neat appearance, good customer service skills and no more than 6 penalty points. Experience as a Class 1 Driver is required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Hold valid Tachograph and CPC.
• Presentable appearance and good customer service skills.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Drivers shifts

• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits

• Days: £17.93 per hour
• Night: £19.05 per hour
• Saturday days: £20.17 per hour
• Saturday night: £21.29 per hour
• Sunday days: £22.41 per hour
• Sunday night: £23.53 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
