Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel delivery network in Bradford (LS27). Shifts are afternoon, ad-hoc, with Monday to Friday work and weekend options. Typical 12-hour shifts.

Pay rates include: Mon-Fri £20.34/hr; Saturdays £23.52/hr; Sundays £26.25/hr; overtime after 8 hours £25.25/hr. Rates include holiday pay. Drivers will conduct checks, trunk to depots, and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Valid Tachograph and CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Presentable appearance and good customer service.

Responsibilities

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Bradford (LS27).

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available
• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
